A tropical club and concert night with a WHAM! BAM! pre- and after party with DJ Bert van Gulik and WHAMANIA! live on stage. 

This event is completely dedicated to the legendary 80's pop band WHAM! founded by George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley in 1981.

This night not only honors WHAM!, but also puts George Michael & Andrew Ridgeley into the spotlights, together with their best friends Pepsi & Shirlie.

Pre-party
The Club Tropicana pre-party starts in 1975, the year it all began for WHAM! During this evening DJ Bert van Gulik takes you to the early childhood years of George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley for a full 4 hours visual DJ event with WHAMANIA! live on stage. 

1975 - 1981
During the pre-party you dance to the music from 1975 to the year 1981 with videos shown on big screens. Music from the late 70s period that George & Andrew loved so much and practiced their first dance steps to. The DJ mixes videoclips, so you totally feel back in the 70s and early 80s. 

When 1981 dawns, you enter the year WHAM! started and released their first single Wham Rap! Now WHAMANIA! starts: on stage a 12-piece live band, with a horn section and an incredible talented cast of vocalists & dancers. Presented as a live documentary, taking you through The Story Of WHAM! and their most important highlights between 1982 and 1986:

After-party
Once the high energy performance of WHAMANIA! has ended, the Club Tropicana after party starts. The time of leg warmers, mohawks and hysterical colored house pants. DJ Bert van Gulik keeps the packed dance floor rocking and play late 80s and early 90s records, like you never want the night to end.
